The plates in this line are entirely made from recycled rubber granules sourced from shoes. These are not bumper plates made with new vulcanized rubber merely coated with a layer of recycled granules, but plates fully composed of recycled rubber granules bonded together through high-temperature processing. For this reason, in order to achieve the target weight while maintaining the 450 mm diameter and an acceptable thickness, the 20 kg plate contains a small metal core inside.

The use of recycled rubber granules gives these plates their distinctive stone-like appearance, with color tones that may vary depending on the production batch. Additionally, the light base color, which tends toward white, may take on yellowish shades over time due to oxidation from exposure to light and environmental factors.

Crumb bumpers, also known as Grid or Hi-Temp bumper plates, have been produced for over twenty years. However, the growing focus on material recycling and advancements in manufacturing techniques have led to a renewed interest in this type of plate, now offering higher quality compared to earlier versions.

From a technical standpoint, modern Crumb Plates should not be confused with old models that were overly thick and excessively bouncy. The rubber used—bonded with polyurethane—is about 10% softer than that of standard training bumper plates, offering greater elasticity, slightly more bounce, and a quieter impact on the ground. The result is a less sharp and harsh floor contact, making for a more pleasant experience without excessive rebound.

Note: In the final stage of production, the plates are treated with silicone-based products. The silicone layer can be wiped off with a cloth or will naturally wear off with use over time.

The Add-On Flex Plates make dumbbells, kettlebells, and preloaded barbells more versatile in weight. These flexible, rubber micro weights with an open C-shaped design adapt easily to the handles of different equipment, allowing for quick and secure attachment.

Compatible with bars and handles with diameters between 25 mm and 40 mm, they enable athletes to make small weight increments on the same equipment efficiently and effectively.

THE PUMP TRAINING

Pump training is a form of fitness training focused on increasing muscle endurance and toning the body through the use of “light” weights and a high number of repetitions. This type of training, of which Super Pump is a method, aims to engage all the major muscle groups in a session, combining weightlifting exercises with aerobic-inspired movements for a comprehensive workout that improves both strength and cardiovascular endurance. During a typical pump training class, participants choose weights based on their abilities and the type of exercise, performing sets to the rhythm of motivating music. The instructor leads the class by demonstrating the exercises, performed in quick succession at high intensity. The goal is to promote general health and well-being through a fun, high-impact metabolic strength-resistance workout.

Being equipped with grips, the 0040-0042 plates can also be used without a barbell, thus increasing the range of possible exercises.

In order to comply with international standards concerning the chromatic recognizability of plates, it was then decided to proceed by painting the engraved graphics, which are also necessary for weight calibration, and implementing a colored silicone ring, placed in a special recess in the head of the plate. This solution guarantees immediate and perfect recognition of the weight.
Considering the aesthetically and technically relevant result, we were tempted to implement the engraving of the painted graphics on both sides. However, the choice of the single-sided disc, calibrated by material removal on one side only, stood out against the need for a maximally thin disc.
The removal of material on both sides would inevitably have resulted in the production of a disc with a slightly greater thickness. In this case, too, we preferred, albeit by a few mm, to favor the technical aspects.

Pair of strong strips made of reinforced nylon, 155 cm long, with 24 cylindrical weights of 0,5 kg, for a total of 12 kg per strip. The tool was developed to eliminate the irritating noise and discomfort, typical of metal chains for lifting with progressive overload.

A 5 cm wide nylon strap is sewn onto the strips, forming a 10 cm loop at one end. The strap has the function of reinforcing the entire strip, while the ring acts as a grip and collar, for insertion on barbells or plate holders; racks, or isotonic plates loading equipment suitable for the use of weight chains.

Silent Gym Chains can in fact be used in various ways. The barbell is undoubtedly the most suitable equipment, although, in addition to some isotonic machines, the use of wear-or-hold weight chains for free-body exercises is widespread.

Several pairs of chains can be mounted on the barbell to increase the weight of the progressive overload.

66 cm diameter disc, weight 30 kg, thickness 65 mm,  it combines the construction characteristics of the rubber bumper plates with the measurements of the metal wagon wheels. The aim is to get a large disc, able to lift the barbell off the ground more, without compromising on the mechanical qualities of rubber.
The 66 Rubber Wagon Wheels appear giant when compared to the regular bumper discs with a 45 cm diameter, however, their diameter determines a 10.5 cm increase in the barbell height from the ground, which is considered to be the standard height of the blocks.

These discs are thus extremely practical because they meet precise technical requirements for push-ups and hip thrusts, facilitating the loading/unloading of the barbell without the need to use lifts, lifting levers or supports. Lengthy set-up operations are often at the root of the difficulties in performing these exercises, especially when it comes to athletic training. The 66 Rubber Wagon Wheels make it possible to create a practical fixed workstation, especially if they are left mounted on the barbell.

Neoprene, a member of the rubber family, is a pleasant-to-touch, odourless polymer characterised by elasticity, high mechanical strength and exceptional resistance to atmospheric ageing. However, it is vulnerable to impact with sharp objects and sharp edges (e.g. kit racks), as it tends to lift up once cut.
Plates cod. 0031-0033, weighing 1, 2 and 5 kg, are also comfortable to use without a barbell; the neoprene cover and the grips make the grip particularly pleasant and effective.

The Competition Rubber Bumper Plate line was made to obtaining the highest quality standards for plates dedicated to competitions. The plates are color-coded according to IWF standards, and are available in the weights from 10 to 25 Kg. 5 Kg bumper plates are not included in this line because in weightlifting competitions are preferred fractional rubber plates for this weight, such as code 9038/50.

The rubber used for the Competition version has the discs equipped with a large steel plate diameter 185 mm to reinforce the central area, reduce the tolerance with the barbell and also reduce, the most important feature, the amount of rubber of which it is composed the disc.

Central compactness, precision insertion on the barbell, reduced thickness, low rebound effect: these are the main features that characterize the Competition Bumper Plate line.
