Set of two anklets with adjustable weights (maximum 5 Kg each), that can be wrapped around each ankle for free-body exercises with progressive weight overload. The weight of the anklets, which are made of nylon, can be adjusted by inserting, in individual pockets with Velcro, 10 + 10 metal cylinders of 500 g each. A 5 cm high band, also with Velcro, facilitates adjustment and adherence to the leg, which, in the case of such heavy ankle weights, has to be optimal.
To further improve the fit to the leg, the new model 2024, has increased inner padding and strap, compared to the previous model.

The weight of 5 Kg per anklet is, in our opinion, the maximum achievable weight for this type of tool. Tests with higher loads have shown a poor fit of the prototypes due to the excessive dimensions of the tool when compared to the lower leg. 5 kg may appear to be a weight that is theoretically not too heavy, whereas, in reality, this weight overload is very high for most users.

Jumps, sprints, lunges, crunches, and other bodyweight exercises and metabolic activities, if performed with 5 Kg of additional load on each ankle, prove to be challenging. This type of exercise should be adequately assessed before its execution. That is why we have chosen to make this model’s weight adjustable, so that the user can gradually adopt the appropriate weight load.

Dimensions: 36 x 16 cm.
Max Circumference: 45cm

The series of Ankle Weights (also called anklets), available in pairs from 0.5 to 2.5 Kg, has been completely redesigned, adopting a new type of high resistance nylon and unique coloring. Due to their unaltered softness, they can be comfortably wrapped around the ankles and wrists. The Velcro closure makes them easy to adjust and adhere to, minimizing the effect of abrasion on the skin.

The model code 0940, that includes a pair of 0.5 Kg ankle weights, is, for size and weight, excellent to use on the wrists. Weights ranging from 1 to 2.5 Kg are instead mainly used on the ankles.

To complete this series, we have added the model code 0949 (5 Kg x 2) that, because of the high weight, is produced in an adjustable version. Their weight can be changed by adding or removing the ten cylindrical weight pads from their pockets.

Ankle weights help intensify your cardio and plyometric training. They are also great for functional workouts, improving muscular endurance, strength training, and toning.

Available weights:

• Code 0940, Kg. 0,5 each (0,5 kg x 2), Grey / Black
• Code 0942, Kg. 1,0 each (1,0 kg x 2), Grey / Black
• Code 0943, Kg. 1,5 each (1,5 kg x 2), Grey / Black
• Code 0944, Kg. 2,0 each (2,0 kg x 2), Grey / Black
• Code 0945, Kg. 2,5 each (2,5 kg x 2), Grey / Black

These ankle straps are made in nylon, with a Velcro fastening that can be hooked to isotonic machines, cables, or elastic bands. They help the athlete perform many exercises—ideal for training glutes, abductors, and adductors muscles.

The main feature of this model of anklets for cables is the straps that accommodate to the bottom part of the feet. This feature prevents the anklet from moving along the leg during use. It facilitates performing long-range movements that could prove problematic in the absence of the foot harness.

A thick 10 mm padding in high density expanded polyurethane perfectly protects the ankle, allowing to fasten the Velcro closure tightly. The tool is completed by 3 metal half-rings for hooking. The rings are positioned on the internal and external sides of the ankle. These rings assist in the execution of the movement both backward and laterally.
