BALANCE PAD

This small EVA board is part of the so-called unstable bases, devoted to exercises of proprioception, coordination, and strength (see also Bump Stimulating Disc cod. 3001). The peculiarity of the product derives from the softness and non-deformability of the EVA material, with a tremendous regular elastic coefficient.

The Eva mat paves the way for many exercises of a destabilizing nature, offering a soft and delicate resistance that does not cause tendon stress. The Balance Pad can be considered as a wise middle ground between a stable surface, like the floor, and an excessively unstable one, like the Freeman pad. This feature facilitates many exercises that force you to maintain a non-strenuous balance, improving neuromuscular transmission.

The fields of application are many: from functional recovery to toning to Pilates, ensuring many variations of conventional exercise.

Let’s think of a simple crunch for abdominals. If performed sitting on the Balance Pad, the deep muscle fibers are more activated, causing a more challenging stimulation.

Or let’s imagine a push up: if executed with the hands resting on the Eva mat, a greater tension develops in the pectorals and the “core” due to the slight instability induced by the Balance Pad.

Even the exercises for the weights take on a different dimension, approaching the concept of functional training. Try a lunge with the barbell with the front limb resting on the mat, or the side risers on the Balance Pad.

The need for the muscles to continuously correct the position gives an extra boost to the training.
