New sled designed for preparing for HYROX® and DEKA® type functional fitness competitions.

The Competition Sled, equipped with two push tubes and a central disc holder, can be accessorized for performing traction and push exercises, as well as for creating SLED PUSH and SLED PULL stations, suitable for physical and technical preparation specifically dedicated to competitions.

The equipment, an evolution of the previous model called C.F. GYM SLED, proves to be suitable for general athletic preparation, conditioning exercises and strength training.

9097/2 Competition Sled

Competition Sled, also known as prowler sled, dog sled or power sled, is a new sled designed for preparation for HYROX® and DEKA® type functional fitness competitions, as well as for general athletic preparation.

The equipment, which can be loaded using discs with a 50 mm diameter hole, is characterised by a 75 cm long loading tube, which allows the insertion of a large number of discs, even thick ones, such as rubber bumper discs.

The wide, heavy frame, which cannot be deformed during exercises, has a double central slot for attaching the 1712 Pulling Rope, and four holes for attaching the R9097 Sled Harness.

The wide, well-finished skids guarantee maximum smooth, constant friction, without jamming.

The push tubes, 49 mm in diameter, 99 cm long (106 cm from the ground) allow optimal grip and the implementation of all sled push techniques. The tubulars are inserted into the frame by gravity, so that the working direction can be quickly reversed, moving the tubes quickly, without having to rotate the sled. The tubulars-sled coupling is in turn characterised by measures to minimise tube play.

9097/2 Competition Sled includes the sled and a pair of push tubes (R9097/2 Push Tube).

The following accessories and tools can be added to create a SLED PUSH and SLED PULL station:

The maximum load is calculated considering use on a classic synthetic grass sled track. Where the friction coefficient of the floor is increased (e.g. recycled rubber flooring) the load must be reduced accordingly.
